Our Farm

  • Hi, my name is Bruno, and I'm a microgreens grower!

I've been an urban farmer for several years now.

How I started growing microgreens will probably surprise you.

Back in 2020, I suffered a terrible tooth ache. I was looking for anything and everything to help me stop my pain.

Fortunately, I stumbled upon the topic of eating healthier foods and paying attention to natural diets.

After trying several different things, I started to eat microgreens with my meals and a few weeks later, I was pain free!

    What an amazing relief!!

I then started to grow my own microgreens and once I got really good at it, I thought to myself, "maybe other people would like to try them?".

    And so, MicroStBruno was born!

Today, I personally grow, harvest, and deliver hundreds of microgreens from our farm to all around the South Shore.
A bit more about us:
  • MicroStBruno is a small, family owned urban farm located in Saint-Bruno-De-Montarville, Quebec.
  • We grow, cultivate, package and deliver freshly cut microgreens within 24 hours of them being harvested.
  • Our interest for health and natural foods led us to through a journey where we ended up discovering microgreens and tasting them for ourselves.
  • As most people know, most of our foods in stores and in supermarkets are sourced from countries far away and picked weeks or months prior to proper ripeness. They can also be genetically modified and covered in chemicals such as pesticides and preservatives. Food costs are also rising and it became evident to us that we needed to source more locally produced foods.
  • After trying to grow microgreens for ourselves and finding great results, our friends and neighbors expressed interest and wanted to have some for themselves. We then wondered if perhaps others would also enjoy them.
  • Thanks to this new endeavor, we feel it's our mission to provide everyone around us access to the freshest, tastiest and one of the most nutritious foods known to us called microgreens.
  • As you can probably imagine, we're also avid gardeners! :)
